Are you a dynamic, enthusiastic, experienced Cardiac MRI Radiographer looking for the opportunity to work within a friendly, hard-working, ambitious and highly skilled team of rotational Specialist Radiographers within the Cardiac MRI suite?

Do you possess the right professional and personal skills needed for this busy and specialised service and relish the challenge of working in Europe's biggest cardiovascular centre?, The post holder will work as a specialist in Cardiac MRI and be responsible for providing safe, prompt and effective imaging with a variable caseload of patients. Depending on the skill set and interests of the post holder the role can include rotation through Cardiac Cath labs which may involve on-call duties. Patients will present with a full range of complex conditions and the post holder will be responsible for carrying out the appropriate diagnostic procedures to support the diagnosis of complex conditions. The post holder will supervise, support and assist students and junior radiographers in service delivery and personal development.

We are currently seeking a Specialist Cardiac Radiographer to cover maternity leave within our Cardiac MRI service. The department is made up of 3 dedicated Cardiac Magnetic Resonance (CMR) Imaging scanners and a Cardiac CT (CCT) scanner, with plans to expand our services across the Trust.

The department has won 2 awards for scanning pacemakers and is a National Leader in scanning patients with Cardiac devices. As part of Barts Heart Centre, the department is involved in a large amount of research and complex scanning with plenty of opportunities to get involved. We are immensely proud to have many of our Radiographers publishing research and representing us at conferences both in the UK and around the World., Barts Health is one of the largest NHS trusts in the country, and one of Britain's leading healthcare providers.
