Exciting opportunities are happening within Dudley CAMHS. As a clinical team we have been involved in a redesign and restructure of our services to ensure that we are providing the best evidence based practice care in the most suitable way we can.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 8a Child Psychotherapy posts, in Dudley CAMHS. We are looking for an ACP registered, qualified Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist to lead and develop the delivery of psychoanalytic psychotherapy treatment in CAMHS, taking the lead in the delivery of the under 5's service. The work will include using your psychoanalytic skills within the core service and the under 5's service., The post-holders will be joining a supportive and forward-thinking team who pride themselves on their commitment to the continual development and improvement of patient care. Clinical and leadership supervision and continuing professional development are highly valued. Additionally, there are opportunities to join peer supervision and other groups. The posts will have active links with, and support from, both the wider Black Country Healthcare CAMHS and professionals within the Trust.

    The salary range quoted is as per NHS Agenda for Change pay structures. This is based on the number of years' working directly within the NHS at the advertised pay band. Experience gained with other NHS Trusts will apply, but candidates without prior experience working direct for the NHS would normally be appointed at the lowest point unless they can demonstrate the equivalent experience and then be eligible for incremental increases in future years.
    Successful applicants for clinical posts up to and including Band 4 are expected to hold the national Care Certificate qualification and will be supported to attain this once in post.
