Exciting Career Opportunity for Clinical/Counselling Psychologists or Social Workers/Nurses with CBT Training!Join the MINT Teams at Hammersmith & Fulham - West London NHS Trust

Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We are seeking passionate and motivated Band 7 Clinical/Counselling Psychologists or Social Workers/Nurses with CBT training to join our innovative Mental Health Integrated Network (MINT) Teams in Hammersmith & Fulham. These cutting-edge teams provide comprehensive mental health support, bridging primary and secondary care for adults.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an early-career psychologist or mental health professional eager to expand their expertise. If you are driven to make a real difference, this role will allow you to develop and consolidate your specialist skills, particularly in working with complex needs, trauma, and personality disorders.

While you'll employ a variety of therapeutic approaches, we are especially looking for someone passionate about Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Whether you're already experienced or interested in building your DBT expertise, we will support you with training and accreditation.

Delivering high-quality 1-to-1 interventions to clients.

Shaping and embedding psychological principles within the multidisciplinary team (MDT).

Being a driving force for the development and leadership of psychological thinking, consultation, and innovation within the service., The post holder would be a member of one of three MDTs in Hammersmith & Fulham, and would be expected to contribute to the development and delivery of treatment pathways within these teams, and to support the teams more generally in formulating and caring for service users.

The psychology team aims to offer a range of evidence-based treatments for the above disorders, including EMDR, DBT, and CBT for psychosis. Training in all these therapies is made available, delivered by expert external providers, and supported with the necessary specialist supervision.

As well as working within an MDT, the post holder will be part of the wider MINT psychology team, covering the three MINT teams in Hammersmith & Fulham. This includes clinical and counselling psychologists, CBT therapists, and clinical associate psychologists, as well as students and trainees. We work together in delivering evidence based group therapies and fostering space for reflective practice. You will also develop close working relationships with other local psychologists in related services.

As already mentioned, there is an excellent CPD programme. Half a day a week is set aside for CPD, and training is available in therapies such as EMDR and DBT, which can lead to accreditation in these therapies. We can also support training in other models to support your personal and professional development where it will enhance the service we are able to offer our service users.
