Are you someone with extensive experience as a Children's Occupational Therapist wo is looking for a new role? Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust has a perfect opportunity., The post holder will be part of the Multi-Disciplinary Assessment Team (MDA), carrying out complex occupational therapy (OT) assessments to assist with a diagnostic outcome for children within the autism spectrum. This will include the use of ADOS.

To be clinical lead for the occupational therapy team within the MDA Pathway providing clinical leadership and expertise support to promote high quality client-centred care ensuring clients are treated with dignity, equity and respect.

To coordinate, help deliver and develop training packages to our own staff and those of our partner agencies on all aspects of communication and interaction related to autism

To supervise and manage the occupational therapy MDA team.

Our ideal candidate has experience of working with autistic children and is highly skilled incarrying out complex occupational therapy assessments to assist with a diagnostic outcome for children within the autism spectrum.We are looking for someone who is a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced therapist to join our team. We can also offer training in diagnostic tools if you do not already have this.

We provide care and support to over a million people in Wakefield and Kirklees in their homes, community settings and across our three hospital sites at Pontefract, Dewsbury and Pinderfields (Wakefield).
