Full Job Description

Come and be part of a dynamic and evolving Health Visiting team within the 0-19 service in Gloucestershire. We have vacancies for qualified Health Visitors and are looking for enthusiastic and motivated professionals to join our existing team. As Health Visitors, we all know that prevention is key and within Gloucestershire this is always at the forefront! You can be part of a skill mix team which includes Community Nursery Nurses, Public Health Nurses and Student Health Visitors, led and supported by locality Health Visiting Team Leaders, with strong support from our safeguarding colleagues. In addition we also offer reflective supervision and are always looking for innovative ways to support colleagues in providing this vital role.,

  • As part of a skill mix team, the SCPHN HV will lead the delivery of the 0-19 Healthy Child Programme and deliver the personalised level of service identified through a high quality needs analysis.
  • To work with guidelines of the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and to follow local protocols and policy guidelines.
  • Safeguarding: Adults and Children(Section 11 of the Children Act 2004)
  • Safeguarding: Adults (Care Act 2014) and Children (Section 11 of the Children Act 2004)
  • Every member of staff has a responsibility to be aware of and follow at all times, the relevant national and local policy in relation to safeguarding children and safeguarding adults. This includes keeping up to date with relevant training and seeking supervision.
