Full Job Description

Cheshire West and Chester offer a dynamic and innovative library service, with a network of 22 libraries, a mobile library service and a range of 24-hours online services., You will be developing positive relationships with our customers and ensuring that an efficient and effective library and information service is provided to the public.

You will be part of an inspiring Libraries Team, contributing to an innovative community-driven library service.

You will have the energy and enthusiasm to deliver the range of services we offer.
You will have excellent communication skills, the ability to develop positive working relationships and be able to deal with varied situations in a pragmatic and supportive manner. You will have the energy and enthusiasm to deliver the range of services we provide.

Responsibilities include assisting customers with queries, providing varied digital support, operating library management systems, processing and shelving library stock and providing and taking part in a full range of activities for adults and children to help encourage library use and promote reading.
