Full Job Description
As a Specialist Dental Nurse, you will:
- Provide clinical support for a wide range of treatments to a diverse client base.
- Lead dental nurse triage sessions and organize the fluoride varnish programme.
- Work with children, young people, and vulnerable adults, ensuring seamless care.
Degree level qualification (or equivalent) and Certificate in Topical Fluoride Application. - NEBDN Certificate in Special Care Dental Nursing and Oral Health Education Certificate (desirable).
- Strong initiative, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and competent keyboard skills. Knowledge of dental software is a plus (training provided).
- Or able to achieve the qualification within the first two years of employment.

We deliver high-quality, specialist dental services across East and Central England, focusing on the most deprived areas within the SNEE ICB (Integrated Care Board) Suffolk boundary.
Contract:2-Year Fixed Term, Part TimeHours:22.5 hours per week, 3 daysLocation:Colchester Primary Care CentreSalary: £29,970 - £36,483 per annum, pro rata (Actual £17,982 - £21,889.80), Personal Development:Opportunities to work in full scope of practice with direct access. - Generous Leave:27 days holiday plus bank holidays, pro rata.
