Full Job Description
- The post holder will work alongside The Brook colleagues to ensure that the service can provide compassionate and holistic recovery focused care to address the nutritional needs of people with learning disabilities and autistic people.
- The post holder will contribute to the management of resources within the clinical and professional area, e.g. nutritional products, equipment and literature, will act as a resource on nutritional issues to the multidisciplinary team across the service, promoting healthy lifestyle and good nutrition for all individuals that use the services and to provide relevant staff training.
- The post holder will contribute to the planning, developing and evaluation of the dietetic service within the Brook

The Brook is a new regional service which will provide high quality care and treatment for people who have learning disabilities and complex mental health needs. We are looking for a dietitian with learning disability and/or mental health experience who is looking for an unique opportunity to work in this new and exciting setting providing direct nutritional assessment and advice to individuals their family/carers and the ward staff. The role will be clinically supported by the trust mental health/catering dietitian and you will be part of the wider DPT dietetic team alongside the ward team We are committed to the ongoing training and development of all our staff and offer a range of opportunities for career progression.
