Full Job Description

Applicants will possess BSc Nutrition and Dietetics (or equivalent) and be HCPC registered.
To deliver a high quality, evidence based Nutrition and Dietetic service to Nutrition & Dietetic Services in the inpatient, outpatient and ambulatory care setting.
To complete learning packs / competencies related to your rotation.
To widen your clinical and non-clinical experience and knowledge across all pillars of practice.
Clinically responsible for the nutritional care and management of patients and independently plan organise and prioritise patient related and professional demands daily.
You should have the ability to work well within teams and be able to manage your time effectively.
Excellent communication skills and effective team working skills are essential.
To act as a source of dietary expertise for colleagues and other health care professionals across the organisation.
To work as an integral part of the Dietetic Team in ensuring that the service is fully covered over the periods of leave.
To contribute to the Trust Clinical Governance programme by participating in audits, development and implementation of evidence based guidelines/protocols/policies and continuing professional development.
You will support the service and contribute to the department's annual objectives.

The successful individual will be joining our Band 6 Rotational Programme. As this is a rotational post you will have the opportunity to be working within well-established multidisciplinary teams with both inpatients and outpatients in the following clinical areas; Bariatrics; Intestinal Failure Team; Oncology & Haematology; Paediatrics; Metabolics; Critical Care; Neurology & Neuro Surgery; Head & Neck Oncology.
We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and confident individual with an interest in developing their dietetic skills and experience across a wide range of specialist areas. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a supportive environment whilst developing their clinical skills.
