Full Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to broaden your paediatric dietetic experience within multiple specialist areas working within the already established multidisciplinary teams. The role includes inpatient and outpatient work, may include some regional work, with the chance to be involved with service development within each of the respective paediatric specialisms. The dietetic department is part of Newcastle Nutrition, an enthusiastic and committed dietetic organisation, and benefits from excellent support from specialist colleagues within many disciplines. You should have already gained post-registration dietetic experience across a range of areas in an acute hospital setting. + Work effectively as part of the MDT + Previous paediatric experience desirable but not essential You should be enthusiastic and self-motivated and will: + Have post-registration experience in general dietetics + Have experience of working within the specialist areas or be able to demonstrate a good baseline knowledge of the nutritional needs + Be able to demonstrate ongoing CPD and have evidence of developing practice + Be able to support colleagues and take responsibility for the clinical supervision of junior staff and students + Have excellent communication skills + Be able to maintain good relationships with colleagues and the wider the MDT
