An exciting opportunity has arisen for 1.0 WTE dietitian to support the Paediatric Gastroenterology and Surgical team at Nottingham Children's Hospital (NCH) on a temporary contract for 9 months to cover maternity leave.Are you a Paediatric Dietitian keen to expand your clinical experience in Gastroenterology? Do you have a passion for improving patient outcomes with the best nutritional care? We are looking for a forward thinking and enthusiastic Dietitian to join our team. You will become an integral member of our supportive multidisciplinary team delivering high quality, patient centred dietetic care. The post holder will provide dietetic support within a team of Consultants and Specialist nurses. Providing therapeutic dietary advice to children and young people with Inflammatory Bowel disease, coeliac disease along with single/multiple exclusion diets.
The successful candidate will support nutritional interventions including oral nutrition and enteral feeding so some experience in these would be beneficial. They will also need to work closely with the broader MDT to optimise patient care with the aim of minimising admissions where possible.
The post holder will also support audit and service evaluation to demonstrate the benefits of dietetic input within these patient pathways.
The post holder would be supported by a Team Leader and Clinical Leads to deliver a consistent high quality dietetic service at NCH.
