Full Job Description

All dietetic staff are encouraged to participate in audits, service evaluations, and continuous professional development by attendance at study days.

Band 7s take a lead in service improvements and developing policies and guidelines, offer supervision and support to Band 5 and Band 6 dietitians, and develop specialist resources.

The Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at LGT comprises of 3 teams based at Lewisham Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital and the HomeEnteral Nutrition team. We are a friendly team of over 50 professionals including dietitians, dietetic assistants, nutrition specialist nurses andadministrators., 1. Improving representation at senior levels of staff with disabilities, from black, Asian, and ethnic minorities background, identify as LGBTQ+ and women, through improved recruitment and leadership development
2. Widening access (anchor institution) and employability
3. Improving the experience of staff with disability
4. Improving the EDI literacy and confidence of trust staff through training and development
5. Making equalities mainstream.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed and experienced dietitian to join our adult acute team as a specialist dietitian.

The post holder will join a friendly department comprised of 30 dietitians across University Hospital Lewisham and Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Previous experience in stroke is desirable but not essential.
