The salary scale above has been agreed as part of the NHS Agenda for Change pay award for 2024/2025 and will be implemented in November 2024 backdated to 1st April 2024 where applicable., A rare opportunity has arisen to join the Dietetics Department at Glan Clwyd Hospital as a Specialist Acute Vascular Dietitian. Vascular surgical patients can have complicated acute and chronic nutritional presentations which require specialist dietetic treatment.
A comprehensive nutritional assessment and care plan considers macro- and micronutrient intake, comorbidities that affect the ingestion of nutrients, appropriate route of nutritional support, medications that affect wound healing and/or serum glucose levels, and the overall medical, nutritional and metabolic status of the patient., Our Acute Dietetic Service are looking to recruit a band 6 Clinical Specialist Dietitian to provide this specialist service to the Vascular Ward and MDT, and to be an integral member of the Conwy & Denbighshire (Central BCUHB) area Acute Dietetic team.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
