Full Job Description

The Mobile Cleaner will be responsible for carrying out daily cleaning tasks to ensure our customers across the London Borough of
Hounslow and surrounding areas are kept hygienic and safe inline with Lampton Services promise. You will need to be flexible to
cover jobs when required at short notice including specialist tasks and emergency call outs. You will be working in a team and
will be independently responsible for working in a team and timekeeping your duties set out by the management team - this includes
route planning, and consideration of traffic.,

  • To undertake either individually or as part of a team, the cleaning of premises to ensure they are kept in a clean and hygienic

  • condition.
  • Duties will vary depending on the site specification but may include cleaning, washing, sweeping, vacuum cleaning, emptying of

  • litter bins, polishing, and dusting designated areas and fixtures and fittings, cleansing of hygiene areas including kitchens,
    toilets and associated facilities, window cleaning, responding to emergency calls and other duties not listed.
  • To use a wide variety of cleaning equipment, including electrically powered equipment and cleaning agents/chemicals.

  • To carry out routine periodic maintenance operations, including tasks such as wall washing, carpet cleaning, re-sealing, and

  • dressing of floors and numerous other tasks.
  • Unlocking and locking of doors on client premises and setting alarms as necessary.

  • To ensure the completion of paperwork covering variations, stock ordering, quality control systems, etc.

  • To ensure that all working practices comply strictly with the requirements of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and the

  • company's internal Health & Safety policies, practices and working rules.
  • To deliver cleaning materials and equipment as directed by the Line Manager.

  • To carry out cover duties, as directed by the Line Manager.

  • Submit weekly timesheets to reflect works carried out.

  • To follow all reasonable management requests

  • Ensure you remain up to date with all relevant compliance and mandatory training that will enable you to fulfil the

  • requirements of your role.
  • Keep van tidy in line with Lampton Services fleet policy.

  • Communicate using provided smart phone.

    General cleaning qualifications - must include, hard floors, carpet cleaning and wood floors. Certification must be provided.

  • Full driving license.

  • Certification for Machinery use must be provided.


  • Previous Experience and Skills Required:

  • Minimum experience of 2 years as a mobile cleaner.

  • Full driving licence

  • Experience in cleaning multiple sites; Schools, Depots, Offices etc.

  • Experience in Customer Service

  • An understanding of health and safety requirements

  • Excellent organisational skills

  • Numerate

  • The ability to communicate, in English, clearly and concisely.

  • Able to work well under pressure.

  • Experience in submitting timesheets.

  • A strong team player and leader

  • A proactive attitude

    £15.62 per hour + Van & fuel card

    40 hours a week - split shift can start at 4am some days
