Full Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and ,motivated, nurse to join our children's safeguarding team to cover the current post holders maternity leave. As Specialist Nurse for Safeguarding Children you will assist the Named Nurse and be providing high quality safeguarding advice, support, education and guidance to the staff at Surrey and Sussex Healthcare Trust. The successful post holder will be an innovative nurse who is committed to developing and supporting the safeguarding children team. You will need to have skills in managing a busy, varying case load of patients who require support from the safeguarding children team. You will also need to be confident at liaising with members of the multi agency safeguarding providers across the two main counties we work with. You'll need to be involved in teaching and have basic I.T skills and the working knowledge of safeguarding children polices including The Working Together Document, Children's Act and The Intercollegiate Document .
