Full Job Description

A position has become available for a Band 7 Specialist Nurse Safeguarding Children to join the Warrington Childrens Safeguarding Team.

This is a specialist role requiring an enthusiastic, caring and dynamic nurse with a high level of professional skills who is able to work autonomously and also as part of a team.

The Specialist Nurse Safeguarding Children will have access to clinical supervision, safeguarding supervision, restorative supervision, and management 1:1s.

The Trust is committed to its staff and provides a wide range of health and wellbeing options for staff to access when required., The Warrington Safeguarding Children Team is looking to recruit a Specialist Nurse for Safeguarding Children. This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to develop their existing safeguarding childrens skills and knowledge within the Safeguarding Children arena.

They are required:

To provide highly specialist advice and clinical support to staff employed and commissioned by the

Trust, maintaining appropriate documentation and records.

To provide support/supervision and to be a source of knowledge within the area of safeguarding children

To work closely with the Named Nurse for Safeguarding Children to ensure appropriate quality assurance mechanisms in all areas of safeguarding practice are in place. Be integral in developing effective communication strategies within the Trust and with other agencies and professionals involved in this area of work. To specifically to provide safeguarding supervision and training to frontline practitioners.

Flexible working will be considered for all roles.
