Full Job Description

A part time and permanent opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, suitably qualified, experienced, confident and forward thinking individual to lead, manage and maintain the clinical oversight of the Occupational Therapy team at The Cove CYPMHS GAU in Heysham, Lancaster.

Our Vision is to provide the best mental health, learning disability, autism and community based services for the populations we serve.

As an integrated mental health, learning disability and community Trust, Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including:

o Primary and secondary mental health care for children and adults including specialist inpatient child and adolescent mental health provision, perinatal mental health, forensic services including low and medium secure care.o Specialist community support for children and adults with learning disabilities and autism, including intensive support.o Community physical health and well-being services for children and adults., You must be able to provide clinical leadership and motivation to develop the existing staff whilst maintaining high professional standards, demonstrating commitment to staff development and CYP patient care. Ability to demonstrate sound knowledge of the wide ranging OT specialties which this role provides. You will promote and maintain extremely high standards of care whilst supporting and assisting the Modern Matron to implement local and national strategies and initiatives.

You will need to possess excellent interpersonal skills, have strong leadership and staff development skills as well as a proven track record in change management. A strong commitment to your ongoing professional education and development is essential.The successful post holder will be expected to be able to work three days between Monday and Friday during office hours.As part of the pre-employment checks, successful candidates will be required to pay for their own DBS check at a cost of £44. Deductionswill be taken from the first 3 months' salary.

Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.
