Full Job Description
The post holder will be required to complete assessments, interventions and rehabilitation programmes in order to aid the recovery of patients admitted to Forest Care Village.

We are currently looking for a Specialist Occupational Therapist to work alongside the multidisciplinary team managing our non weight bearing beds in Forest Care Village, Borehamwood Would you like to work with an enthusiastic team who will support and help you develop your clinical, managerial, personal and professional skills? It is an exciting time to join the team in West Herts and we are seeking enthusiastic and skilled colleagues to join us as we build on existing models of care and introduce new ways of working. Due to the location of the clinical aspect of this role the main administrative base would be at Langley House Watford. You would work closely with Occupational Therapy colleagues within our other bedded rehabilitation units to support service delivery, participate in service development and for your own clinical supervision. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual, who is passionate about helping patients to improve their quality of life and helping staff to develop in their roles and are keen to learn. The successful candidate will be able to work autonomously, have excellent communication and time management skills with the ability to problem solve and prioritise., You will be required to provide excellent clinical reasoning and hold a caseload of patients within the service.
