We have an opportunity for a qualified Occupational Therapist with excellent communication skills who enjoys working with people and is looking for an exciting, rewarding role assisting with the delivery of high standards of patient care. We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our in-patient therapy team, here at Haslemere Community Hospital in Surrey. We provide rehabilitation to a caseload of patients with frailty and/or chronic long term health conditions., The post holder will contribute to the delivery of high standards of healthcare to patients on the wards at Haslemere Community Hospital. There will be opportunities to work with patients referred to occupational therapy providing rehabilitation to promote functional independence and well-being and to assist in the management of complex discharges from hospital to home or other settings.
With support from the Occupational Therapy team leader, the post holder will assist with the on-going development of clinical practice, standards of care and service development within the therapy team.
This is a role for the in-patient Occupational Therapy service on the wards at Haslemere Community hospital - contributing to the planning and provision of the Occupational Therapy service.
