Full Job Description

To work as an autonomous Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapy practitioner in the integrated complex lower limb trauma and chronic pain multi-disciplinary service at Salisbury District Hospital, within a specialist outpatient rehabilitation setting.

To provide highly specialist and expert therapy input to patients under your care, and to oversee all OT provision in the lower limb and chronic pain integrated service.

To work closely with the senior team at Wessex Rehab to ensure continuous and coherent supervision and leadership to all staff working at Wessex Rehab.

Provide direct line management to the Band 6 OT and workshop therapy assistant / technician staff.

To work flexibly to support the inpatient teams in the Trust if required in unforeseen circumstances. There is an expectation that all staff will be moving toward seven day working patterns in the future.
