Full Job Description

We are looking for a Paediatric Dietitian who has broad experience in Paediatric Dietetics including Allergy experience to help lead and deliver a high quality, robust and responsive Children's Allergy Dietetic Allergy Service at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. This is a fixed term part time position.
The Paediatric Dietitian is an integral part of the multi-disciplinary team working within Paediatric Allergy outpatient clinics across sites at St Mary's and Hammersmith Hospitals.
You will help to lead and develop a dietetic allergy service to a complex outpatient paediatric allergy caseload, in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, contributing your expert assessment, intervention and advice to the diagnostic process and patient pathway.
This is a busy complex caseload with a requirement to work across the Hammersmith and St Mary's hospital sites as part of the Allergy team.
Together with the Dietetic lead for Paediatric allergy, you will be responsible for developing the service, promoting a learning culture, supervising and developing staff, enabling delivery of a service that is informed by best evidence and expert knowledge. You will have opportunities to lead on specific projects, take part in audit and service development

You will lead in the delivery of the Dietetic allergy service in conjunction with the Clinical Dietetic lead for Paediatric Allergy. This will include the development and evaluation of the service.
You will have an in depth knowledge and experience of Paediatric Allergy. You will act as an expert and educate staff in the management of paediatric allergy and nutrition to patients.
You will provide a specialist dietetic service to the day care unit and outpatient clinics. The role involves helping to supervise the band 3 Dietetic assistant post, as well as training and supervising student dietitians.
You will have the opportunity to develop working relationships with Paediatric colleagues at other shared care centres and on paediatric networks across London and the UK.
