If it works for the service, we will do our best to make it work for you., An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, innovative and enthusiastic specialist pharmacist to work in critical care. This vacancy is a fixed term maternity leave cover. The pharmacist will have the unique opportunity to work at a critical care unit with 24 beds at Northwick Park Hospital. The patient group is diverse taking adult medical and surgical patients who require multi-organ support; often these patients are from specialties such as St Marks Hospital gastroenterology, intestinal failure, ENT, Vascular and Head & Neck departments. We pride ourselves on a multidisciplinary approach to individual patient care., We are looking for someone who has extensive clinical pharmacy experience, critical care experience and the ability to work with a multidisciplinary team. You will need to have excellent communication, clinical and negotiation skills, as well as experience providing training and education to a range of healthcare professionals and patients. Experience in managing individuals or team(s) is also an advantage.
The successful candidate will be expected to work as a job share for 15 hours on Thursdays & Fridays fixed-term for 6 months. They are expected to participate in 7-day working on weekends and bank holidays pro-rata
