Full Job Description

Delivery of high quality pharmaceutical care to adult cancer inpatient, outpatients and day cases. Includes opportunities for: supporting day treatment unit, clinical checking SACT prescriptions, pharmacist led oral SACT education clinics, aseptic experience (QC/QA), clinical trials experience and palliative care., Work as part of the AMS team to deliver the AMS agenda - supporting clinicians in the safe prescribing of antimicrobials (on ward rounds, answering queries and proactive surveillance)

  • Masters degree (Mpharm or equivalent)
  • Registered pharmacist with GPHC
  • PG Cert in pharmacy practice and due to complete diploma or equivalent
  • Broad patient care experience
  • QI/service improvement/audit
  • Mentoring/training
  • Office 365
  • Desirable criteria
  • PG diploma/masters or equivalent
  • NMP
  • Leadership program
  • Hospital experience
  • Understanding of NHS finance
  • Preparation of protocols/guidelines
  • Electronic prescribing systems experience, You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
