The Rheumatology Pharmacy team have an exciting opportunity to welcome a Band 7 Pharmacist into a non-rotational position. The CUH Rheumatology service continues to grow rapidly and support to this service therefore must expand. We are looking for an organised, forward thinking and motivated Pharmacist to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly specialised patient cohort and specialist clinicians in rheumatology. You will play a key role in the provision of specialist services: high cost drugs, medicines optimisation and the management of clinical queries to help us to deliver and improve the quality of patient treatment and care. Maintaining the safe supply of medicines and treatment to patients homes. Rheumatology Pharmacy experience is not essential as full training will be given. Our progressive and friendly pharmacy department consists of approximately 300 staff. The department provides clinical services to diverse patient groups across a wide range of therapeutic areas, including many highly specialised services. The majority of our pharmacists are prescribers and we have a number of consultant pharmacist posts. CUH has been accredited at the highest international quality standard for use of technology, data and analytics (HIMSS Level 7). The Pharmacy team fully utilises our electronic patient record system (Epic) alongside technology such as robotics.
