An exciting opportunity has presented for a self-motivated and committed individual to develop their leadership skills in this management role. We are looking for an astute and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team and to team lead medicines management dispensary services based at Hollins Park Hospital, Warrington.
Shortlisting planned for: 18 November 2024
Interview planned for: 25 November 2024, As part of this role, you will support the Pharmacy Technician Team Manager for Dispensaries to ensure the dispensary at Hollins Park Hospital meets its quality and activity targets. You will manage the workload of the dispensary and supervise staff on a day-to-day basis, organising rotas and cover for any unexpected staff absences to ensure a safe, effective, and timely service in accordance with current legislation and guidance and supported by policies and procedures. You will also hold HR management responsibilities., The post holder will participate in the medicines management seven-day supply service. The trust will deliver a high-quality medicines optimisation and pharmaceutical care service to all service users, carers and healthcare professionals. To lead in providing a comprehensive dispensary service to Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust supported by appropriate policies & procedures.
The post holder is managerially responsible for the day-to-day co-ordination, management & operation of the dispensary rota & service in line with the hours of operation. The post holder will ensure users receive their medicines accurately and safely, in a timely manner. The post holder will be expected to work flexibly in line with the hours of operation.
