An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and skilled Physiotherapist to join our Neurosurgical therapy team at Salford Care Organisation.
We are looking for a motivated, dedicated and innovative individual who is eager to expand their knowledge in the field of neurology and more specifically neurosurgery, who has a passion for assessing and treating complex neurological patients. In areas such as spines, critical care, oncology and brain injuries.
You would see a variety of patients and lead by example with your passion for improving clinical outcomes and care provision. This is a really exciting time for our service as we continue to develop and implement change, innovation and service delivery.

Don't miss this opportunity to be part of a large, friendly and supportive team with all the benefits of working for an Outstanding Trust., Manage a highly complex caseload of patients as a specialist in the holistic assessment of the needs of neurosurgical patients during their inpatient admission. You will have significant experience in the management of patients with tracheotomies. Deliver training in your own discipline, as well as contribute to the training of other disciplines within the team. Integral participant of the service development, audit and QI initiatives. Excellent team player; good leadership skills and significant experience of supervising staff /students are essential criteria. Significant post registration experience, ideally working at a Band 6 level, in both acute and community Neurosurgical or neurological settings. Ability to lead on difficult conversations with the MDT, patients and their families with regards to care, rehabilitation and discharge planning Contribute to the weekend working service at Salford Royal Hospital and the on-call respiratory service., Ability to support band

7 therapists with team development, creating a safe and supportive environment and work to the Trust Values at all times. Supervising rotational band 5's, Therapy assistants and students using appraisal, 1:1, structured supervision and PARE.
