Full Job Description

OSRU is an innovative and dynamic service with a strong commitment to evidence based practice and quality improvement. You will deliver safe, effective rehabilitative care and discharge planning, working in partnership with colleagues in the stroke multidisciplinary team and other agencies both within and external to the trust.
We are looking for someone who will also be keen to participate in quality improvement projects and support junior staff/student development. The new national clinical guideline for stroke has raised the bar for rehabilitation provision and this is a great opportunity to be part of a team innovating and evolving to deliver this!
Education and professional development are key elements to this role with excellent support available for additional training/further study in this specialist area. The service also has well established links with local research teams and is open to recruitment for a number of rehabilitation research trials., + All new starters have a thorough induction process, both local and Trust wide, which aims to create a positive supportive working environment allowing new employees to learn key elements of their role over a reasonable timescale.

A brilliant opportunity has arisen at The Oxfordshire Stroke Rehabilitation Unit (OSRU) for a part time Physiotherapist who has previous experience in stroke or neurological rehabilitation to join the team as part of a job share

You will be an integral part of the multi-disciplinary team which encompasses dietitians, doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists and speech and language therapists.
