Full Job Description

Within the Core-Om service, the post holder will provide a consultation service to Offender Managers (OM) and Approved Premise (AP) staff within local probation sites, for clients who are assessed as high risk and present with traits, or a diagnosis of personality disorder and other co-morbid conditions. Following this consultation, a clinical or risk formulation is completed and the post holder will take a lead role in producing this alongside the OM's.

Within the IIRMS, the post-holder will use the consultation process to support identification of people on probation who may be suitable for the service. They will use the formulation to support the referral process and engage in joint working with the person to support with assessment for IIRMS suitability and in order to develop the formulation with the person to guide IIRMS intervention. There may be requirement to be provide group and psychological interventions and to support in provision of group reflective practice to approved premises, and probation teams across the local delivery units.

The service operates across the footprint of Probation Delivery Units across Lancashire, so the post holder will be required to travel to various bases across the county. However the increasing use of technology to engage with colleagues who use the service, will impact on the need to travel as often.
