The successful candidate will work as a specialist clinician in both the CRT and Pulmonary Rehabilitation services, working in all areas of the service, including being on the weekend rota.
Are you passionate about improving care for patients with Chronic Lung diseases? This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of highly specialised and committed respiratory practitioners working to improve outcomes for patients with COPD in Croydon.
We are looking for a proactive, dynamic and self-motivated respiratory physiotherapist with experience in delivering first class care to patients with respiratory conditions to work across both the Croydon Respiratory (CRT) and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (PR) Teams., The successful candidate will ideally have experience in the community and hospital settings, and will be confident in managing respiratory patients both in stable state and when acutely unwell. They will also have experience of managing patients through a pulmonary rehabilitation programme. However, there is ample opportunity for development and training for the right candidate.
The Croydon Respiratory Team is working in many innovative and exciting ways to improve the quality of life for people with respiratory disease in Croydon. CRT is an integrated service delivering care for their patients from diagnosis to end of life care, within the hospital and across the community. Areas of the service include delivery of the COPD discharge bundle, facilitated discharge, self management care, end of life care, Structured education service, PR and the Home oxygen service (HOSAR).
This position will include working in both the hospital and community settings and thereforeit is essential that applicants are car drivers
