Specialist Speech & Language Therapist

The post holder will be based in the Ealing Community Team for People with Learning Disabilities (CTPLD). They will provide assessment, treatment and management to service users in a range of community settings.The post holder will assess clients with communication / swallowing disorders and develop and implement highly specialist, SLT management and treatment packages.They will independently manage and prioritise a specialist caseload.They will provide advice to other professionals and carers re: management and care of clients with communication/swallowing disorders.They will lead on dysphagia service development. The role will comprise of both dysphagia and communication related work.
