Specialist Speech and Language Therapist

This is a Part Time position of 22.5 hours per week, between monday-friday work pattern to be confirmed.,

• Being responsible for implementing recommendations from a comprehensive review of our current service provision in relation to people experiencing swallow and communication difficulties.
• Providing specialist support and care to patients who have difficulties with communication and swallow.
• Supporting the audit and evaluation of quality improvements and initiatives aimed at improving the delivery of palliative and end of life care for people who have difficulties with communication, eating, drinking and swallow

Using our full breadth of service, we create individual care journeys, which start at diagnosis and continue with bereavement support for family, carers and children.
