Full Job Description

As the Learning and Development specialist trainer you will identify, design, develop, deliver, evaluate and continuously review a wide range of high quality leadership and management learning and development activities and materials. These learning interventions will be bespoke to the learning needs of the learners and involve coaching, observing & giving feedback, providing workshops for teams as well as more traditional eLearning, leadership and management learning programmes and facilitative sessions.

Your learning interventions will be both proactive and responsive to customer needs, support the Councils values and competency framework and will meet the Council's current and future objectives, statutory requirements and inspection frameworks. The postholder will pro-actively work with services in order to build workforce leadership and management capacity in line with the Council's needs, this will require continual alignment to shifting organisational/operational demands and the ability to be highly agile.
