Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity within our Children's Community Nurse Training Team! The post holder will work across Gloucestershire in a countywide capacity, to deliver training in a range of healthcare skills e.g. enteral tube care, general medication administration and emergency medication administration. The service predominantly delivers training in special educational needs settings in Gloucestershire., The post holder will:

  • Develop, co-ordinate and support the provision of high-quality clinical education and training for a wide community of partner organisations.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date records of the training that is delivered.
  • Liaise with partner organisations to report staff who have been trained and are competent to deliver care in the specific areas trained.
  • Contribute to the development of education and training resources to ensure that the training delivered remains up to date and relevant.
  • Demonstrate commitment to working with team colleagues to develop a strong multidisciplinary ethos and focus on delivering high quality clinical services.
  • The post holder will work during normal office hours.
