Full Job Description
The Passenger Transport Group provides a range of transport solutions for children andadults across Shropshire to get to schools, specialist placements, colleges and day centresusing both the commercial market of approved operators and the Council's own PassengerFleet.We also manage the commissioning of all vehicles for Shropshire Council including gritters,library vans, public health vehicles and road repair vehicles.This role will assist in the efficient commissioning and day to day contract management of adynamic and challenging network of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) andadult services transport contracts that meet passenger need whilst offering best value.
We are looking for a pro-active and highly organised individual who is able to bring excellentcommunication skills to this dynamic service area.
