Speciality Doctor - General Adult Psychiatry, Ormskirk

We are seeking to recruit a substantive Specialty Doctor in General Adult Psychiatry to work with the West Lancashire General Adult Inpatient Team.

The post is full time (10PA) and will be based at the Scarisbrick Unit, Ormskirk District General Hospital. The unit comprises 21 beds in total and services are delivered as part of a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) that works with individual patients. You would be responsible for providing medical input for comprehensive assessments, formulation and devising management plans for service users at both wards of the in-patient unit.

There will be the opportunity to join the On Call rota, for which additional remuneration is available.

To be eligible to apply for this post, you must possess at least 3 year's experience in psychiatry and be fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practice. Ideally, you will be Section 12 Approved, or eligible for approval at the time of commencing employment.
