Full Job Description

Examination, investigation, and treatment of patients attending the Dermatology Department.
Supervise existing junior staff including Trust Grade Doctors, Clinical Assistants, Hospital Practitioners and Nurses.
Participation in the internal education activities of the Department including teaching nurses, medical students, junior doctors, and other visitors to the Department.
Participation in the external educational activities, including meetings and courses hosted by the Department.
Participation in the research, audit and clinical governance activities of the Department.
Providing medical support to non-medical staff of the clinic
Performance of administrative tasks relevant to Dermatology (such as writing of letters to colleagues and patients, compiling data, development of clinic protocols).
Clinical liaison with other hospital departments, general practitioners and other agencies as required.
Participation in developing clinical networks within Dermatology in Mersey and continue to take part in the Grand Round Meetings at Broadgreen Hospital.

This post is for a Specialty Doctor in Dermatology This is a whole time post offering an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Medic to join a dynamic, rapidly expanding team delivering multidisciplinary acute care in Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals.
