Full Job Description

Based in a popular area of West London, we are looking for a dynamic and skilled colleague to provide Specialty Doctor input to the Hounslow Cognitive Impairment and Dementia Service (CIDS) and Specialist Older Adult Mental Health Service (SOAMHS), both within the Older People's Mental Health Service (OPMHS).
These community teams continually strive to enhance the experience of patients, and those supporting them, and is closely linked to Imperial College London both in terms of teaching and research. They are co-located in Hounslow borough at Lakeside Mental Health Unit, adjacent to West Middlesex University Hospital, You will be joining an established multi-disciplinary clinical team. The SOAMHS and CIDS teams are integrated and work along New Ways of Working. The SOAMHS team provides a specialist service for the assessment and management of mental health needs to patients over 70 who require older people's services as outlined in the Royal college of Psychiatrists document "Age discrimination in mental health services: making equality a reality". The CIDS team offers a service for all patients with a primary dementia
