Specialty Doctor - Female Acute (FTC)

Are you an outstanding Specialty Doctor looking for your next challenge in psychiatry and a competitive salary?, Cygnet Hospital Beckton is situated in the East End of London and has four different specialist wards including mental health with learning disability, personality disorder and an acute admissions service.

This role will be based on Hooper ward, our 13 bed acute mental health service for women.The service provides a safe and stabilising environment for individuals who are experiencing an acute episode of mental illness and require an emergency admission.

The ethos of this service is about assessing and treating service users in the least restrictive environment and planning for discharge in a robust and timely fashion.

With a focus on stabilisation, we will support service users to manage their mental health, reinforce daily living skills and prepare for independent life back in the community.
