Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Humber for a full time Specialty Doctor to work in a well-established Old Age Psychiatry inpatient team.

Maister Lodge is a 14 bedded Inpatient unit providing a comprehensive, needs led service to patients who are experiencing organic mental health problems.

The ward has undergone major renovation works meaning that the environment is well suited for patients with a diagnosis of dementia.

The post holder will join an established team of Specialist Consultant Psychiatrists in Old Age alongside a wider established network of consultants covering all sub-specialties. There is weekly teaching and weekly peer-group events to support professional and personal development., The service is supported by a dedicated service manager and a Modern Matron who provide operational and clinical support and oversight to the team.
