Full Job Description

Providing psychiatric and medical care to the inpatients on Cilantro ward.
Being an integral part of the inpatient multidisciplinary team. In conjunction with the multidisciplinary team, service user, carers and other involved agencies develop robust risk assessment and management plans.
Making referrals to other primary and secondary care colleagues in order to provide seamless care for our service user population
It is expected that this post could involve occasional travelling to acute hospitals across Birmingham and Solihull, as well as occasional home visits., Please refer to the accompanying job description for full details of the roles and responsibilties of this post.

All successful applicants will be required to complete the Trust's induction programme. The Fundamental (Statutory and Mandatory) training will be in an e-learning format. You will be required to complete training modules online (approx. 9-14 hours depending on post) by the end of your first week with us.

If applicable to your role, the Trust will require you to sign up for the DBS Update Service. The subscription will cost you £13 a year but the Trust will reimburse this. You will be contractually obliged to maintain your subscription.

The adult eating disorders service, based at the Barberry, are a well-established team providing inpatients, day treatment and community/outpatients.
We are seeking to recruit a fixed term SAS doctor to provide care for the 10-bedded, mixed gender inpatient unit. This is a new post, and we are hoping that we will be successful in gaining funding to make this a substantive post if we can evidence its effectiveness., Working for our organisation
