Full Job Description

You will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team of middle grade doctors, ACPs, ENPs and consultants in the ED at the Princess of Wales Hospital providing front line care to an undifferentiated case mix. The department provides a consultant led service and there is direct consultant shop floor cover approximately 13 hours a day, 7 days a week. The ED at the Princess of Wales Hospital sees approximately 56,000 new patients per year. There is substantial exposure to the breadth of EM cases ranging from seriously ill or injured adults and children to minor injuries with ample opportunities to develop EM procedural skills. Our ED has a dedicated, dynamic and friendly multi-disciplinary team. This provides an excellent and supportive working environment. You will have opportunities to be involved in undergraduate teaching and mentoring junior doctors.
