Specialty Doctor in Otolaryngology (ENT)

The Department The successful candidate will join a team of five consultants, one associate specialist, two specialty doctors, one specialty registrar and six F2/ST1-2 doctors working jointly with Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospitals. Day-case surgery and outpatient clinics are provided at Rotherham Hospital with inpatient care provided at Doncaster Royal Infirmary. The on-call base is therefore at Doncaster, 18 miles distance via the M18 but there is a responsibility to cover ENT emergencies at Doncaster, Rotherham and Bassetlaw (Worksop) hospitals. There is a joint on-call rota with ENT surgeons at DRI at all levels. A large proportion of all ENT operations are performed as day-cases at Rotherham including Mastoidectomy, FESS and Septorhinoplasty.
