Full Job Description

Clinical role
· Attend ward rounds, conduct reviews, and create management plans for patients on the ward.
· Complete, review and authorize discharge summaries as required.
· MHA work including preparation of tribunal reports and presenting evidence at the tribunal hearings.
· Assess and manage physical health for patients on the inpatient wards.
· Participate in leading clinical decision making in the multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
· Be involved in developing service clinical priorities in line with national and professional guidance and standards.
· Be involved in clinical governance related activities such as audits and quality improvement projects. Educational roles:
· Provide supervision and support to doctors in training working with the team.
· Provide teaching to medical students and doctors in training working in the trust.
Leadership roles:
+ Participate in leading clinical decision making in the multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care
+ Be involved in developing service clinical priorities in line with national and professional guidance and standards
