Full Job Description

A principal purpose of this job is to improve clinical outcomes for trans and gender diverse patients with gender dysphoria accessing the West of England Specialist Gender Identity Service (WESGIC). This will be achieved through the establishment, development, delivery and evaluation of a high quality, evidence based, specialist speech and language therapy service at the WESGIC. The service will be provided within the clinic in Exeter and across the South West region through partnership working with local providers.

The post holder will receive professional and clinical supervision in accordance with Trust policy and Professional Practice Guidelines set out by the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
