assess and diagnose children with a wide range of speech, language and communication needs

provide therapy in the form of direct individual therapy, groups, parent workshops, and therapy programmes to be implemented by nursery/pre school setting staff

contribute to the delivery of training for parents, school staff and other colleagues

contribute to team audits and to the development of policies/procedures, To provide an effective and efficient speech and language therapyservice to children with communication and/or swallowing difficulties.- Under the guidance of a more senior therapist, the post holder will beresponsible for a paediatric caseload in a variety of settings- Duties will include assessment, diagnosis, therapy (both group and/orindividual, as appropriate), planning therapy programmes and dischargeof clients
