Full Job Description

Greenwich Children's Integrated Therapies Service are looking to appoint following increased interest in our services. This is an opportunity for newly qualified or Band 5 Speech and Language Therapists with experience. You will have the opportunity to work with early years and school-age children & young people with a range of speech, language & communication needs. Providing assessment, advice & intervention, with a supportive team of therapists & assistants. These posts have arisen due to increased interest from local nurseries & schools to provide high-quality Speech & Language Therapy provision. There is the opportunity for professional development & the support of a team of therapists & assistants. You will have access to admin, managerial & clinical support. CPD is supported & the development of clinical interests is encouraged. We have embedded support to offer for B5 therapists including:

  • Our friendly, well-established Services offer fantastic support & opportunities to develop your career., The Greenwich Children's Integrated Therapies service consists of Speech and Language Therapy, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy teams, providing services to Early Years, School Years and Special Schools. The Greenwich Children's Speech and Language Therapy team has specialists in all key clinical areas including: Autism, DLD, deafness, dysphagia, phonology, and SEMH. We work closely to provide clinical support and second opinions. As the post holder you will:
  • Provide assessment and intervention for children with a range of SLCN in settings including schools, nurseries and health centres
  • Work as part of a integrated team with teachers and outreach services supporting children with communication difficulties and their families
  • Have opportunities for involvement in service development projects, example projects currently taking place are: The Bilingualism Quality Improvement Project and The Developmental Language Disorder working group.
