Full Job Description
As a Speech and Language Therapist you will make a key contribution to providing effective person-centred support. Our inclusive way of working ensures that the people we support have a voice so that they can be actively involved in their care. You will have the opportunity to build long term relationships with people and you will be able to see the impact that your support has on their learning and quality of life. As a Speech and Language Therapist will follow therapy plans and carry out interventions for the people within the service in a variety of environments under the guidance and supervision of the onsite Lead Speech and Language Therapist. You will also support with the delivery of training and provide role modelling and coaching to colleagues when carrying out therapy sessions.
We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our organisation as a Speech and Language Therapist and be a part of our longstanding and experienced therapeutic team., You will have knowledge and experience of supporting people with a learning disability and/or autism and associated mental health needs. Previous experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary team and within an education setting is desirable but not essential. We are seeking a dynamic, resilient, motivated and passionate individual who can demonstrate a commitment to an evolving service and delivering effective and evidence-based service initiatives.
