Are you passionate about making a difference in children's lives? We have an exciting opportunity for a Speech and Language Therapist to join our innovative Children and Young People's Integrated Therapies Service!
Your role:
Lead the charge in developing, delivering, and coordinating a core training program in collaboration with our local partners. You'll be at the forefront of:
+ Shaping whole-setting approaches
+ Pioneering early identification and intervention strategies
+ Creating a place-based model for addressing diverse therapy need
Core Training Offer:
Our core training offer is a vital part of our local offer, designed to:
+ Educate, coach, and upskill adults who work with children and young people (CYP)
+ Focus on improving speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN)
+ Empower the community to better support our CYP's development and well-being

Main duties of the job
You will lead on the following activities, as well as carrying a clinical caseload in an area of your preference and based on your clinical skills:

As a key member of our team, you will lead on the following critical activities:
+ Training Delivery: Conduct engaging and effective training sessions for various stakeholders.
+ Training Program Development: Create innovative and comprehensive training materials tailored to our parents/families, educational settings and team around the CYP needs.
+ Training Coordination: Manage logistics, schedules, and resources to ensure smooth program execution.
+ Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration: Build strong relationships with partners and participants to maximize program impact.
+ Continuous Improvement: Incorporate feedback from participants and stakeholders to enhance the quality and effectiveness of training.
Your Team:
Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, and Physiotherapists. Collaborate with external experts including educational psychologists and specialist teachers to ensure our training program delivers maximum impact., If you are an internal applicant there is the option for secondment, all applicants must have the endorsement/support of their line manager prior to application.
