Full Job Description

You will assist our coaching team in the delivery of fully accessible and inclusive sports provision and social groups; helping to remove barriers to participation. These sessions will have a primary audience of people with disabilities. When not assisting in the planning, prepping and running of sessions, you'll be working with our administrative team on various computer-based tasks, cleaning and general hub upkeep and maintenance.

Coach Core's vision is to drive social mobility through apprenticeships and sport, so that every young person can reach their true potential and inspire those around them. Since our launch in 2012, we have worked with over 150 of the biggest sports providers, youth clubs and charities in the country, supporting over 500 young people.

The Community Activator Coach role is the perfect opportunity to understand the role of sport and physical activity in the Community, and as a coach with Defiant Sports you will be helping to run fully accessible and inclusive sports sessions, social sessions, events, fun days, bespoke sessions and more. Our primary audience consists of those with disabilities of all ages. This will be the primary focus of the position.

In between sessions, you will work on cleaning and general upkeep of our venue. On top of this, you will assist our administrative team with tasks such as research, organisation, graphic design, writing reports and more.

Our mission at Defiant Sports is to make sport inclusive for all. If you'd like to help us achieve that, then this is the job for you.

What your apprenticeship includes:

-A mixture of face to face and online catch ups every 4 - 6 weeks to discuss feedback and progress

-A mixture of on and off the job training, including workshops and webinars

-Reviews every 12 weeks with your Line Manager and apprenticeship Trainer
