Full Job Description

The role: General Sports Trader
This role will sit in our in Sportsbook Trading and Risk department, and be responsible for the in play/ pre match trading of a Global sports
schedule.

Here at Kindred, we are well on our way towards the completion of our brand new, proprietary sportsbook platform (KSP). Once we're live we
are going to need people to power it and you can join a great new, growing team within the Sportsbook department and be a key part of this

Our ideal candidate will have very good analytical background, with strong mathematical skills and knowledge of a P&L.
They must have excellent communication skills, and the ability to communicate to different stakeholders at all levels across the business.
We are looking for someone with great enthusiasm and drive, that has a keen interest in helping to drive the business forward and enhance
our existing product.

What you will do:

  • Be a key player within our trading team on our Kindred trading platform.

  • Responsible for the accurate and timely provision of events, markets and odds for our proprietary trading platform.

  • Responsibility for liabilities and positions across the entire Sports betting product (trading)

  • Responsible for monitoring / responding to activity or information that could impact the profitability of the KSP betting product

  • Monitor appropriate competitor markets and take action as required

  • Assist Risk Management with the identification of a customer's / group of customers' risk profile.

  • Coordinate and collaborate with the internal Sportsbook team i.e. Strategy, Marketing, Promotional and Operational
    requirements/ issues

    How you will be measured:

  • Sports betting revenues

  • Sports betting margin

  • Growth of the above

  • Acting in line with Kindred Group values

  • Successful completion of all relevant training and other compliance activities that support Kindred's sustainable and
    responsible growth.

  • Demonstrable knowledge of the methods/ mathematics that apply to Sports trading

  • Knowledge of sports betting with an understanding and interest of most global sports

  • Excellent attention to detail and highly organised

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure to timelines/deadlines

  • Understanding of customer profiling and behavioural trends

  • Can work to a good standard with all Microsoft office tools, particularly Excel

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Industry experience is desirable but not essential for this role as comprehensive training will be provided.

  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal, is essential.

  • Shift patterns are variable, to include days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays and may also include early, evening and
    night working hours
